
Scott Savage
Owner & President
A 37-year veteran of the radio industry, Scott Savage has been employed in the senior management of radio companies, stations and networks since 1987. Throughout his career, he's worked for major broadcasting companies in sales and management positions in markets such as New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Washington, DC, Baltimore and Pittsburgh.
From 2002-06 Scott served as General Manager of Entravision Communication's five radio stations in Dallas/Ft. Worth. Within his first two years, he doubled the cluster's cash flow and Entravision eventually sold the stations in November, 2006 for $92.5 million. He then launched his own company, Savage Media Group, LLC.
Scott worked on the west coast from 1999-2002, where he started-up the FOX Sports Radio Network as its VP/GM in Los Angeles. From 1988-99 he lived in Dallas, during which time he served as Executive VP & Chief Operating Officer of Pinnacle Broadcasting, VP/GM of CBS/Infinity/Alliance Broadcasting-owned radio stations and VP/GM of the Texas State Networks, which included the Dallas Cowboys Radio Network.
In 2005, Scott was nominated "General Manager of the Year" by Radio Ink magazine. That same year, one of his Dallas-managed stations, KZMP-FM, was nominated for a Marconi Award by the NAB. Named Dallas/Ft. Worth “Manager of the Year” by AWRT in 1994, he was also nominated two additional years. Scott has served as president of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Association of Radio Managers, which created the “Amber Plan,” the missing children alert program now used nationwide.
Married to Marlyn since 1993, Scott grew up in northern New Jersey and has two children. He’s a 1975 graduate of Penn State University and also completed the RAB Sales Management School at Wharton in 1987.
Marlyn Savage serves as Executive Vice President of the company. Her radio career covered three decades serving in sales and sales management positions for companies such as Nationwide, Westinghouse and Belo in Dallas and EZ Communications in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA.
A 1978 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Marlyn earned a Masters degree from the University of Santa Monica (CA). In 2001 Marlyn became a Certified Life Coach and owned and operated “LifeMatters,” a life-coaching consultancy.
Associate Nick Marnell is a 35-year radio veteran, beginning his career in the '70's as an account executive with AM powerhouse KDKA in his home town Pittsburgh. Westinghouse soon promoted him to a national sales position in New York City, and then to Philadelphia where he served as General Sales Manager of market-leading KYW. Later in his career, in addition to owning his own station, Nick was a General Manager for Sandusky in Denver and Fairmont in San Francisco. He also managed the sales efforts for Infinity's KOME and Live 105 in San Jose and San Francisco.
A part-owner of a motorcycle dealership in Pittsburgh, published novelist and worldwide traveler, Nick is a Penn State graduate and lives in Moraga, California.
